You may be aware of these regulations already in place and they’ve certainly stirred a lot of debate online, however join the webinar to get the latest update. Speakers in the webinar will include Frédéric Villers of the French Office for Biodiversity, Amélie Chardin of the Maritime Préfecture of the Mediterranean, Pierre Descamps of DONIA, Yachting Pages’ founder and CEO Steve Crowe, and more.
One of the concerns voiced to me numerous times is the user-friendliness of the Préfecture Maritime website which publishes the various decrees for the regulations – the website is not intuitive regarding searches and the functionality of it for non-French speakers is limited. Other than using the Donia app, I regularly have Captains contact me asking if I know how to find the decrees! How is it possible that yacht crew don’t even know how to find the most up-to-date information? This is something that needs to be addressed and I hope they cover it off in the webinar.
