AI Policy

In relation to the website www.antibesyachting.com

This policy along with our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy (located on the Home page of our website under FAQs section and footer) defines the systems we use for our business services, how we collect your information and how we ensure the data we store is secure. This policy may change from time to time. In this case the amended version will be published on our website.

Introduction

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is changing how the world works, and it’s transforming the yachting sector too. At Antibes Yachting, we use AI to improve creativity, accuracy, and service delivery in marketing, communications, and operations. This policy explains how we apply AI in a responsible, fair, and lawful way.

Our commitment aligns with leading global standards including Article 4 of the EU AI Act (2024), the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) Guidance on AI and Data Protection (2023), the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC) guidance on AI transparency, and the OECD and UNESCO principles for trustworthy AI.

These frameworks guide how we apply, review and use AI systems that support our work.

Scope of AI Use

Antibes Yachting uses AI tools to assist in four key areas:

  • Content creation: Copywriting, translation, image generation, video editing, content voiceovers and audio editing.
  • Design and branding: AI-assisted templates and graphic design tools.
  • Client engagement: Predictive analytics, monitoring audience behaviour, customer segmentation and statistical analysis.
  • Market research: Audience and customer analysis, audience sentiment tracking, reporting, trend mapping.

We only use AI tools that are legally licensed for commercial use and compliant with applicable data protection laws in the UK, EU and US. Any AI-assisted content undergoes human oversight before publication.

Fairness, Bias & Discrimination

We take active steps to prevent unfair or biased outcomes in all AI-supported work. In line with Article 14 of the EU AI Act (2024) and OECD Principle 1 (Human-Centred Values and Fairness), we ensure that AI tools used by Antibes Yachting have human oversight for final decisions and are applied in ways that uphold equality and respect for human rights.

AI data and algorithms are monitored for bias or exclusionary outcomes, especially in content creation, marketing campaigns and client communication. We apply a “fairness by design” approach, ensuring that all AI outputs represent diverse voices, avoid stereotyping, and remain consistent with the ethical values of our company and clients.

Transparency

Transparency signals trust. We clearly disclose when AI has been used in the creation of marketing, PR, or research materials. This approach is aligned with the EU AI Act, FTC guidance on truthful and non-deceptive AI use (U.S.) and the ICO’s fairness and transparency principle under the UK GDPR (Article 5).

Clients are informed about the scope of AI use in their projects, the purpose of each app, tool or system, and any potential limits of automation. Where practical, AI-assisted content is labeled or explained to avoid confusion or misrepresentation.

Data Privacy & Security

Antibes Yachting protects all personal and business data processed through AI tools. We apply the core principles of purpose limitation, data minimisation, and individual rights protection under the EU GDPR (Articles 5 and 6), The EU Charter of Fundamental Rights, and UK GDPR, as well undertaking literacy and training about the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) in the U.S.

We only collect and use data that serves a defined and lawful purpose. Sensitive or client-identifiable information is never entered into third-party AI systems without explicit consent or anonymisation. Our work follows a “security by design” model to protect data integrity and confidentiality. Individuals always retain their right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data held by Antibes Yachting.

AI Training

According to Article 4 of the EU AI Act, companies should take measures to guarantee that employees have a sufficient level of AI literacy, taking into account their technical expertise, experience, education, and training as well as the environment in which the AI systems will be utilised.

Every team member at Antibes Yachting receives annual training on ethical and lawful AI use. This includes learning materials and online courses covering guidance on responsible data handling, bias awareness, and ethics compliance, following UNESCO’s Recommendation on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence (2021).

Our efforts to ensure AI literacy and training ensures our team maintains a strong understanding of evolving global regulations and responsible adoption of AI tools and systems.

Accountability & Compliance

Antibes Yachting maintains full accountability for all AI-assisted actions and outputs. Human oversight is required for all key decisions, in line with Article 14 of the EU AI Act (Human Oversight). We hold ourselves responsible for how AI is selected, applied, and monitored.

Compliance audits are performed quarterly to confirm that AI tools remain lawful and ethically aligned. Any tool or process found to breach our standards or regulations is paused until corrected or replaced.

Meaningful Human Review & Auditing

AI may enhance our work, but people make the final call. Human editors review all AI-generated or AI-supported content or materials to ensure they meet Antibes Yachting’s brand values, tone, and legal standards. This follows the “Human-in-the-Loop” model recognised by the OECD AI Principles.  We define AI risk categories and conduct quarterly audits on data sources, model updates, and system outcomes to identify errors or bias with corrective actions documented and shared internally.

Governance

Our AI use is managed under clear governance. Oversight sits with Antibes Yachting’s Founder, which ensures compliance with data protection, IP, and marketing law across all jurisdictions in which we operate.

We apply the “Ethics by Design” approach recommended by the European Commission’s High-Level Expert Group on AI, embedding transparency, inclusion, and privacy safeguards from the start of every project. Governance responsibilities include approving new AI-supported tools we use in our work, reviewing performance, and responding to client concerns.

Incident Reporting

Our goal is to maintain trust through accountability, therefore we encourage open communication about AI use. Any concerns or reports of potential misuse, bias, or data issues should be sent by email to info@antibesyachting.com. All reports are treated confidentially and reviewed promptly by management. We will respond to every legitimate concern in good faith within 48 hours and take corrective measures when needed.
