The ISWAN for Seafarers app created with The Shipowners’ Club was launched yesterday. This free mobile app provides seafarers anywhere in the world with offline access to help, information and support around the clock.
Via the touch of a button in the app, seafarers can contact one of ISWAN’s free, confidential, international helplines: SeafarerHelp (for all seafarers and their families) and Yacht Crew Help (for professional yacht crew).
Whether a seafarer has a problem on board, a request for general information or simply needs to talk to someone after a tough day, they can do so via the app. It is available for free download on the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
Seafarers can also view useful information, guidance and resources on the app without an internet connection, and look up their nearest seafarers’ centre using the ISWAN directory.
